Deep-water wave-base convention
Airy-wave orbital motion decays strongly with depth but is not mathematically zero at z = -L/2. For visualization, moving particle rows are not drawn below the conventional L/2 wave base when the physical seabed is deeper. The analytical solver itself remains continuous throughout the water column.
